What is Telehealth?
In response to the Ontario emergency order of shutting down non-essential workplaces, telehealth came up as a solution. Telehealth as a service allows patients at home to receive remote services from the comfort of their homes. Complying with the protocols provided, CCO members can now provide telecare services to patients who do not require urgent or emergency in-person care but are in need of essential chiropractic services. In providing telecare services, members need to acknowledge the limitations of telecare, specifically with respect to care and communication with patients. This also includes limitations to the performance of certain orthopedic, neurological and chiropractic assessments. It is also important to recognize that no hands-on assessment or care will be provided through telecare.
Laser Therapy
We are proud to offer Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) using Theralase. This technique has proven effective in reducing inflammation and pain while also proving useful in healing damaged tissue.
